The next European Atari Jaguar Festival, “ejagfest” takes place at November 14th and 15th 2026 in Korschenbroich (near Düsseldorf and Mönchengladbach), Germany. We celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Atari 7800 this year which has been released in 1986.
The European Atari Jaguar Festival is a non-commercial regular festival for all Atari and retro gaming fans from all over Europe and the World. It was established in year 2000 and the focus of attention is on Atari and all systems of the cult label. But we don’t want to miss other retro-systems, as well. The more exotic, the better. The motto is: Bring your favourite retro system and have fun!
All of you who would like to play again on retro consoles and trusty home-computers systems of the 70s, 80s or 90s, this is the right place.
Highlights of this year:
- Jasper van Turnhout:
- Shows and sells his Atari Lynx games such as Wyvern Tales and Critter Championship.
- He also shows us the progress on his current projects: Wyvern Tales for the Atari Jaguar, as well as a sequel to Wyvern Tales for the Lynx.
- Marco Willig (McWill): (unbestätigt)
- Shows and sells his VGA screen hardware mod for the Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear and Game Boy Color. It delivers a much better picture on the device itself and also allows a VGA monitor to be connected.
- Karri Kaksonen:
- Shows his new projects for the Atari Lynx und Atari 7800.
- Walter Lauer:
- Shows and sells his new game for the Atari 7800, “Zombies in Korschenbroich”.
- There will also be a surprise from him.
- ST-Computer Magazin:
- The ST-Computer magazine will be on site again as well.
- A selection of ST-Computer magazine issues will be offered for sale.
- Return Magazin:
- A selection of issues of Return magazine will be offered for sale.
- Retrospiel:
- The Cologne-based dealer for retro games and homebrew for various systems will also visit us on Saturday evening and on Sunday, offering a selection of his range for sale.
- Wolfsoft:
- The well-known dealer for hardware and modifications, especially in the retro field, will be selling a selection of his range.
- He will also show his MiSTer FPGA with the TapTo mod on a Sony PVM monitor.
- Nick Persijn: (unbestätigt)
- Produces and sells spinner / rotary mods for Jaguar controllers on site.
- Sells some Jaguar homebrew games and prototypes, such as Thea Realm Fighters.
- Shows a spinner / rotary controller for the Nuon for Tempest 3000.
- Shows a lot of Jaguar and other retro hardware and software from his private collection.
- John Linneman – Digital Foundry Retro:
- The retro expert from the team of the popular YouTube channel Digital Foundry Retro will be visiting ejagfest again and will be available for chats and geeking out about the hobby.
- Audi Sorle – Clear River Game:
- Audi Sorle from Clear River Games will also be visiting ejagfest again and will be available for chats and geeking out about the hobby.
- Michael Lünzer:
- Will once again be showing exotic retro games and hardware from his collection on Sunday, including for the Atari 7800.
- Thorsten Butschke: (Unbestätigt)
- Shows Retro-Games and homebrew on his ST.
- SainT (RetroHQ):
- This year again, SainT is providing us with his Jaguar GameDrive (SD card adapter), his Atari 7800 GameDrive (SD card adapter) together with the Mega7800 adapter, as well as the Lynx GameDrive. The devices can be tried out at ejagfest.
- DragonBox Shop:
- The DragonBox Shop will be presenting some of its products at ejagfest.
- Zone 3 Zockecke:
- Thanks to the support of “Zone3”, a cozy gaming corner with beanbags, full of retro highlights, will be set up for gamers.
- Sammlerschutzhüllen:
- The workshop for handmade, custom-fit, high-quality protective cases will also be represented at ejagfest.
- He will once again offer a disc repair service. Scratched or no longer readable CDs, DVDs and GameCube discs can be professionally and gently resurfaced for a fee.
- He will also bring his Prusa Core One INDX 3D printer and offer live prints on site.
- Plus a small 3D printing surprise.
- Männerquatsch Podcast:
- Björn and Maik from the Männerquatsch podcast warmly invite you to the podcast’s listener meetup on Sunday.

Further exhibitions:
- Jaguar in a transparent case: There is a Jaguar in a completely transparent case. The case comes from a special series that was created with the original Atari case mold in spring 2015 to support the “RVGS” video game system. The system later known as “Colecovision Chameleon” was also supposed to use this mold, but has since been canceled.
- The HotRod. After Atari abandoned the Jaguar, they sold the housing mold to a dental camera manufacturer. The HotRod was the top model of these devices.
- Custom Made Atari Jaguar Arcade Stick (Sanwa Parts).
- Silver Jag: A silver lacquered and painted Jaguar with blue LED and 50/60 Hz mod.

This year marked the event‘s 22nd anniversary, and it took place for the 8th time in the location in Kleinenbroich. Let’s celebrate Atari! You got two days of retro fun with lots of exhibitors, a tombola on Sunday and drinks like coffee and water over the weekend.

Saturday we start at 9:00 AM until 12 PM (midnight).
Sunday we start at 10:00 AM until 5 PM.
The contribution towards costs is €20. This entitles you to attend the event on Saturday and Sunday, as well as to take part in all tournaments and in the tombola-raffle on Sunday morning.
